If you are familiar with my website and blog you will see I always try and keep things as simple as possible so that I can enjoy my aquarium without fuss.
After a lot of deliberation and soul searching I had to admit that along with my age (haha) this situation was only going to get worse.
Fortunately there were people who were familiar with my setup, through this website as it happens. So when I decided to sell up several local aquarist were interested. I was able to sell the complete setup without breaking it down which I was delighted with.
I used the money to begin a new freshwater planted tank which I really enjoy. I tried to do something different from my original planted tank and am enjoying the journey so far.
If you want to follow my journey into freshwater check out my other websites.
Chris' Jungle Aquarium This is South American based setup with various tetra, dwarf cichlids, corys etc.
Chris' River Aquarium This is an Asian type setup with rasboras, barbs, gouramis, cherry shrimp, loaches etc
I hope my reefing journey has been of interest to you and hope the information I have gleaned from the hobby will continue to be of interest and use to the many people who have visited and continue to visit this site.
Happy fish keeping!
My reefing journey started here. After a lot of research I bought my tank and equipment. Would never have believed the journey i went on over the subsequent years. Ups and downs, trials and tribulations, lots of new learning and some new friends. But most of all a great deal of pleasure and enjoyment.
